About
My Capoeira name is Canela (cinnamon) which describes the colour of my skin. I have been studying Capoeira for 12 years in Cape Town, South AFRICA and studied under Zenzala Capoeira. For the past six years I have been with Abada, which to me is far more progressive. Abada fundamentals incorporate a traditional fighting style which slaves used to free themselves — it is also a Brazilian association for the study and development of Capoeira, under our grand-master Mestre CAMISA who has his own academy in Rio de Janiero, BRAZIL.
I have been involved in training of Capoeira for 12 years and have been teaching professionally for two years. I am now in the process of starting my own group in the wonderful Southern Suburb of Wynberg, Cape Town, where I grew up.
Everybody is welcome to experience my unique teaching skills and learning process.
Capoeira is also beneficial in the alleviation of drug addiction.
